About Baby's First Year CD

Baby's First Year CD is a computerized training supplement designed as a hands-on, self-paced learning experience for home visitors that further expands the training provided in our workshops.

It contains an overview of the Partners for a Healthy Baby curriculum books as well as six exciting learning activities designed to help the home visitor deal with issues faced by families.

Baby's First Year CD covers the materials from Baby's First Six Months and Baby's Months 7 - 12. Both are available for purchase at our online bookstore.

How the CD-ROM is organized

Curriculum Organization
The Curriculum Organization overview is an interactive guide to the Partners for a Healthy Baby Curricular Series. The overview explains the layout and organization of each book, and jump-starts users on their path to using the curriculum and becoming more effective home visitors.

Learning Activities
The six learning activities are designed to help home visitors more effectively use the Partners for a Healthy Baby curriculum. Each activity is designed to reinforce content knowledge through fun, interactive games.

Suggested use of this CD-ROM

This CD-ROM should be used as a follow-up to our instructor-led workshops. Some programs use this CD as an refresher for those home visitors who have already received training, while others use it to expand on the training experience.
